I Saw Him

There he is, I saw him again.

Our hands intertwined, I knew there's no leaving.

Our skins touched, your voice I heard

Hearts in sync and I am at a loss for word.

I traced your lips in my memory.

I'll spot those eyes, I won't miss

Every detail of you is at reach, exemplary.

What a world, what a bliss.

There I see you, standing, waiting for me.

I long for your touch, the one withheld from us.

I do not want to be blamed for this facade,

That my happy ending is nothing but a fraud

People might think it's absurd

That I fathom this world

Where I know my heart is stirred

But it's an isolated world and cursed

Guess it's the invisible chain's fault,

Wrapped in my mind and soul

Or who am I kidding,

I allowed people to cage me in this vault.

I'll be braver if I can have a second rerun

I'd grab your hand and be unconstrained

Won't let everything end and be done

Leaving everything in vanity and drained.

There you are, I saw you again.

It's bittersweet, seeing you, and then waking up.

As reality succumbs me once more,

In the midst of agony, I'm still happy I was with you.
